In America, we typically eat rice with our hands, but in China, eating rice with chopsticks is the norm. My family has always used Leeann Chin’s chicken fried rice recipe because it is simple and delicious. The recipe calls for:
-1/2 cup uncooked white rice -1/2 small onion, diced -1/4 small green bell pepper, diced
-1 small carrot, peeled and grated -3 tablespoons vegetable oil -2 eggs, beaten
-1/2 teaspoon salt -1/4 teaspoon black pepper -1/2 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
-1/4 cup soy sauce -1/4 cup chicken broth -1 tablespoon sugar
